The 1960s was an era of high economic growth, and the demand for household electric appliances skyrocketed.
Refrigerators, washing machines, and television sets were called "Sanshu no Jingi (The Three Sacred Treasures)" and the object of housewives' dreams.
However, as their design, performance, and quality improved, their prices fell, and they rapidly became widespread in Japan.
