World's First Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) Television with Overdrive

Our company succeeded in developing the overdrive technology which reduced ghosting (afterimage) and made the response time faster on an LCD.

In 1992 we made the prototype of an LCD TV including the overdrive technique and announced it publicly.
Before commercializing the TV, we needed to further reduce costs of the frame memory and progression of peripheral technology.
Finally, in 2003, we started selling the first ever LCD TV loaded with overdrive technology.
Since then, this technique has been virtually standardized and also used in PCs and cell phones as well as TVs all over the world.
