What is the price of admission?
Admission is free.
Are reservations required?
From April 2021, all visitors are required to have advance reservations.

What are the museum’s opening hours?

Can we leave and re-enter?
No. Please make a new reservation.
How can we visit the museum in wheelchairs?

Do you have parking?
We do not provide any parking spots. Please use public transportation.
Can we take pictures?
You are welcome to take pictures inside the museum. However, do not photograph other visitors or exhibits marked with "no photo" signs.
Do you have strollers and wheelchairs for rent?
The rental service is currently suspended.
Can we smoke in the museum?
Smoking is not permitted in the museum.
Do you have vending machines?
Yes, we have a drink vending machine in the museum.
Do you have a place where we can eat inside the museum?
No, we do not have any.
Do you have a place for changing diapers?
The ladies restroom and multipurpose restroom are equipped with diaper change tables.
Do you have a room for breastfeeding?
Not at the moment.
Is free Wi-Fi available here?
Yes. "Toshiba Science Museum Wi-Fi" is available.

Visit

When do you start accepting reservations?
Reservations can be made from one month prior to a visit.
(If you want to visit on Oct 15, a reservation can be made from Sep 15.)
Do you have guided tours?
Unfortunately we are not able to offer tours for individuals. However, attendants in each area will answer questions and give demonstrations upon request whenever possible. In the History Zone, Exhibition Guide is available for free.
Is there a suggested route for visitors?
Please feel free to see the museum from any section that interests you.
Are children allowed to visit the museum?
A. Visitors under age 13 are only allowed to visit the museum with an adult aged 18 and over.
We believe this policy will ensure children's safety and avoid unexpected incidents.

Reservations can be made from 3 months prior to a visit.
(If you want to visit on Oct 15, a reservation can be made from Jul 15.)
How long does it take to see everything in the museum?
It takes from 30-90 minutes.
Can we walk around the museum freely without a guide?
Yes.
Do you have a place where we can eat lunch?
Not at the moment.
Do you have parking for large buses?
We do not provide any parking spots. Please make a reservation for a nearby parking lot.
