Our History

Toshiba Science Museum opened in 1961 as a part of the Central Research Laboratory, commemorating Toshiba's 85th anniversary. It has been popular as a site for local cultural events as well as a perfect facility to learn about science technologies.

An exhibition marking the 30th anniversary is held.

On the 15th anniversary a bamboo tree is planted honoring Thomas Edison.
